Before proceeding to flash stock firmware using Phoenix USB Pro, it is recommended to follow the below mentioned preparation steps for smoother flashing process.
Preparation:
- Make a backup of your important data to a safe place, as flashing firmware wipes all the data and settings.
- Make sure that your Android phone or tablet is charged to at least 50-60% before proceeding to flash the firmware.
How to Flash Stock ROM using Phoenix USB Pro
Step 1: Download and install the required Android USB Drivers for your phone on your computer. If you already have the USB drivers installed, then you can skip this step.
Step 2: Download and extract Android Stock Firmware for your smartphone or tablet from here to your computer.
Step 3: Download and install Phoenix USB Pro Tool on your computer.
Step 4: Once installed, open the “PhoenixUSBPro.exe” file to launch the Phoenix USB Pro Tool on your computer.
Step 5: Once Phoenix USB Pro launches, click on the “Image” button and select the .img firmware file.
Step 6: Now click on the “Start” button.
Step 7: Now, you will see a Big Green Tick Mark, which means everything is ready to flash the firmware.
Step 8: Now Power off your phone and press and hold the Volume Down button and connect it to your computer using USB Cable.
Step 9: Now, while holding the Volume Down button, press the Power button three times, then release the Volume Down button.
Step 10: Once the Phoenix USB Pro detects your device, the flashing process will begin automatically.
Step 11: Once the flashing process is successful, you’ll see the below screen.
Step 12: Now close the Phoenix USB Pro flash tool and disconnect your device from the computer and reboot it.
