This page shows a step-by-step guide on how to flash Pac Stock ROM on any Android Smartphone using Spreadtrum Upgrade Tool (SPD Flash Tool).
Before proceeding to flash Pac stock firmware, there are some preparation steps to follow to make sure the flashing process runs smoothly.
Preparations:
- It is recommended to take a backup of your important data to a safe place.
- The phone should have at least 50-60 percent of battery juice left to perform the flashing process.
Flash Pac Stock ROM using SPD Upgrade Tool on Android
Step 1: Download and install Spreadtrum USB Driver on your computer. If you already have the SPD Driver installed, then you can skip this step.
Step 2: Download Pac Stock ROM/Firmware for your Android device.
Step 3: Download and extract the SPD Upgrade Tool (SPD Research Tool) on your computer. Once extracted, you will see the files, as shown in the image below.
Step 4: Launch the SPD Research Tool by double-clicking on “ResearchDownload.exe” file.
Step 5: Now power off your device and connect it to your computer.
Step 6: Once the device is successfully connected, click on “Load Packet” (gear icon) and add the .pac firmware file, which you have extracted in Step #2.
Step 7: Once you have successfully added the Pac Stock ROM file to Spreadtrum Research Tool, click on the “Start downloading” button to begin the flashing process.
Step 8: During the flashing process, your device will automatically reboot several times. So don’t panic.
Step 9: Once the flashing process is completed, a Green Passed Message is displayed in the SPD Upgrade Tool.
Step 10: Now, the flashing process is completed. On your Android device go to Settings > About and check the firmware version.
